Mandala Workshop with Raquel Genioli

Friday 17th November 4pm - 7pm

 

We are delighted to announce our upcoming creative Mandala Drawing Workshop, where we will explore the limitless possibilities of mandala art and unleash our inner artists.

Mandala drawing is a powerful tool for self-discovery, mindfulness, and personal growth.
In this workshop, we will dive deep into the world of mandalas and embark on a transformative and therapeutic journey of creativity and self-expression.

All materials will be provided and the workshop will take place upstairs at the Centre.

$50 for members $60 for non-members

Due to the popularity of this event, we are now delighted to offer it on a monthly basis.  All dates for November through to February are now available on our website to bookhere.

National Recycling Week

National Recycling Week, established by Planet Ark in 1996, is held every year during the second week of November (13th to the 19th November 2023).
Reducing our waste not only keeps valuable materials out of landfill it also benefits the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Thinking about our waste provides some valuable insight into how the recycling and resource management industry works in conjunction to your efforts.

Christmas Closure

 

This year the Centre will be close on Friday 22nd December at 2.30pm and reopen on Monday 8th January at 9.30am.  There will be no classes during these two weeks.

Please check our booking calendar carefully for classes before and after Christmas as some of the classes might not be running.  Gill will be updating this as she hears back from the instructors so please keep an eye on it!

Whilst we make every effort to include all our upcoming activities in the newsletter in order to give you plenty of notice, sometimes this just isn't possible.  Please keep a regular look out on our website, especially on the Events page and on the News section so you don't miss out. 

Boomali Art Project

 

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, this project will not be going ahead on the dates originally planned, but as soon as we can, we will be rescheduling and hope to give you more details in due course.  Thank you for your patience.

 

Justice of the Peace

 

We will have a JP here from 11am to 11.50am on 8th and 22nd November.

You will also be able to get documents witnessed every Monday 1-2pm.

The Seniors Lunch Club will continue to meet on the first Friday of every month.
