Did you know?
- Neutral Bay Community Centre (NBCC) is a not-for-profit. Premises are owned by North Sydney Council who also provides funding for staff salaries.
- The Board (7 members) drives strategy and future direction of NBCC. Board members are locally-based volunteers with full time jobs.
- NBCC is also supported by paid service providers e.g. fitness instructors and volunteers to provide various activities which are listed on NBCC website.
- At the heart of NBCC lies our Constitution, a guiding document outlining our shared values and principles. Our constitution serves as foundation for our programs, activities and decision-making processes. You can find out more information here: https://www.nbaycommunity.com.au/_files/ugd/e9935d_d4965db4f43e44be9c52f3b82bfdbeef.pdf
- Council is currently working on the Social Inclusion Strategy which centres on providing inclusive services across the entire community. As such, you may have already seen some small changes where we are trying to remove some of the administration tasks to allow our staff to focus on value add activities and to broaden NBCC activities.
